The service offers our members some tools to assess and size the packaging market in Italy and abroad.On an annual basis, the performance of the packaging sector in Italy is photographed in the statistical report Packaging in Figures, which provides the quantities of empty packaging, produced in Italy, imported from third countries and exported to third countries. The numbers refer to quantities expressed in tons and to productions in millions of euros.
The Data Bank monitors the performance of over 100 packaging user sectors, both in terms of sectors values expressed in quantity, and in terms of their packaging mix expressed in percentage values and tons.
Help Desk – Terms and conditions
- Assistance via help desk is free of charge for all members of the Italian Packaging Institute
- The Italian Packaging Institute will respond via phone or e-mail within the time necessary to process the request and consult other sources deemed useful.
- The answers from the Institute are indicative, for guidance. The responses are suggestions and/or information based on the technical, scientific and/or legal knowledge available. Under no circumstances are the replies to be interpreted as opinions/invitations aimed at defining business conduct.
- Members requests are handled by telephone or email, at the Institute discretion. In any case, there is no obligation to respond in written form.
- The service provides evaluations, but not approvals and/or validations of business conduct and/or corporate documents. For example, the service does not provide approvals and/or validations of: GMP manuals, technical specifications, contracts, compliance statements, datasheets, SDS or other company documentation.
- The service does not provide the partial or full texts of technical or standard rules, whose exclusive sale rights belong to the relevant bodies.
- If it is not possible to process a query, the Institute will provide proper explanations to the concerned party.
- A member, through its delegates, can submit several requests for clarification and questions. There are no limits, except common sense, which also applies to the technical time required to respond.
